Duralect Electrodes
The MyoSpare can use either standard stimulation electrodes or the specialty DuraLect electrodes.
The patented DuraLect electrodes are designed for long term applications, and are especially suitable in situations in which frequent replacement of electrodes is not feasible, as is the case with under-cast stimulation. The electrodes are very thin, and are coated with biocompatible gel that minimizes reactions by sensitive skin. The unique design ensures consistent electrical transmission even after an extended use of a few weeks.
Standard electrodes are generally sufficient in situations in which frequent replacement of electrodes is required, especially when electrodes are easily accessible by patient. Patients and therapists should consult with StimuHeal for optimal selection of electrodes.
